Due to increased client demand, we are expanding our network of dependable, skilled independent contract attorneys to assist with ongoing and overflow matters.

Position Overview

We are seeking California-licensed attorneys in good standing to work as 1099 Independent Contractors. This opportunity offers maximum flexibility, including mostly remote work with occasional in-person court appearances when required. Attorneys have full control over their workload and may accept assignments that align with their availability and experience.

Practice Areas

Assignments are tailored to your background and strengths. Current needs include, but are not limited to:

• Civil Litigation
• Personal Injury
• Family Law
• Business & Contract Disputes
• Employment Law
• Criminal Defense
• General Civil Matters

Experience in one or more of these areas is preferred, though competent general practitioners are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, briefs, and legal correspondence
• Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Independently manage assigned matters from intake through resolution

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented

Compensation & Structure

• 1099 Independent Contractor position
• Competitive pay based on case type, complexity, and experience
• Prompt payment upon completion of services
• Business Trust Bank Account
• Fee Splitting or a Cost-Sharing Arrangement. Payer distributions to Payee.
