Attorney – Traffic (Florida)

MyCaseCleared is a legal-services support company that provides administrative and technology tools used by independently licensed attorneys. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or legal representation.

We are seeking a Florida-licensed traffic attorney interested in handling traffic citation and related matters through their own independent practice, supported by structured administrative and case-management infrastructure.

This opportunity is well suited for attorneys who want a predictable flow of traffic matters without the administrative overhead that typically makes high-volume traffic work inefficient.

Role Overview

The attorney provides legal representation directly to clients in traffic citation and related matters under Texas law. MyCaseCleared supplies non-legal administrative support, allowing attorney time to focus on legal judgment, strategy, filings, negotiations, and court appearances when required.

The attorney retains full discretion over:

  • Case acceptance
  • Legal strategy
  • Pricing and fee structure
  • Filings and negotiations
  • Client communication

Responsibilities

  • Handle traffic citation and related matters under Texas law
  • Review citations, driving records, and related documentation
  • Assess legal options and potential resolutions (e.g., dismissal, deferred disposition, defensive driving where applicable)
  • Prepare, review, and file court documents as needed
  • Communicate with prosecutors, court clerks, and relevant agencies
  • Appear in municipal and justice courts when required
  • Advise clients on legal questions and case status
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutes, court rules, and local procedures

Support Provided

MyCaseCleared provides non-legal administrative support, including:

  • Structured digital client intake
  • Organization of tickets, driving records, and case documents
  • Standardized administrative workflows and templates
  • Case tracking, deadline reminders, and document management
  • Administrative coordination related to filings and follow-ups

Attorney judgment and legal decision-making are never delegated.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Florida
  • Experience with traffic law, criminal defense, or related matters preferred
  • Comfort with repeatable, process-driven work
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism
  • Ability to manage matters independently within ethical and professional standards

Compensation & Structure

  • Independent contractor / independent practice arrangement
  • Compensation typically equivalent to $75–$125 per hour of attorney time, depending on experience and matter complexity (you will define fair pricing on the platform)
  • No minimum hour or volume requirements
  • Legal fees are set, earned, and collected by the attorney or their firm

Who This Is a Good Fit For

  • Solo or small-firm Florida attorneys
  • Attorneys with traffic or criminal defense experience
  • Lawyers who value efficient, high-volume workflows
  • Attorneys seeking flexible, remote-friendly work
  • Attorneys interested in scaling traffic work without adding staff
