Attorney (Trial Counsel & Associate needed)

DAVIDOFF LAW, P.C. is a well-respected and rapidly expanding Plaintiff’s personal injury firm with offices in both Queens and Manhattan. We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and ambitious attorney to lead or potentially lead a team. ADMISSION TO THE NYS BAR AND AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF LEGAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

The ideal candidate will have a New York & Federal Plaintiff's P.I. Trial Experience, excellent legal writing and research skills, quickly learn our firm’s practice areas and confidently handle the following responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage your team’s caseload, including delegation and oversight of tasks for support staff assigned to your team;
  • Oversee assigned caseload from inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, 50H Hearings and/or EUOs, arbitrations, mediations and trial;
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses;
  • Prepare for and attend virtual and in-person court appearances;
  • Enter into settlement negotiations with opposing counsel;
  • Interact with clients and medical professionals;
  • Review and evaluate medical records and causation;

Requirements include:

  • Admission to the state bar association.
  • Leadership, organization and communication skills to manage the caseload and team assigned to you;
  • Ability to manage caseload and team tasks via the firm’s cloud-based legal case management system;
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
  • Proficiency in conducting legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and other parties.
  • Experience with legal drafting and litigation procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

This firm offers commissions with a base salary included.

Projected Total Compensation: $125,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
