Attorney – Workers’ Compensation

Position Overview:
We seek a motivated Attorney with 2–5 years of experience in Florida workers’ compensation law to manage a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will represent clients in hearings, negotiate settlements, and provide strategic legal counsel. This role requires strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured workers or employers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of workers’ compensation cases, from intake to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, petitions, appeals, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and negotiations before the Workers’ Compensation Board.
  • Advise clients on claims, rights, and legal strategies.
  • Collaborate with medical experts, vocational specialists, and investigators.
  • Stay current on changes in workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring they are informed throughout the process.
  • Participate in firm strategy sessions and contribute to case development.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in workers’ compensation law.
  • Demonstrated litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and written/oral communication abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
