Audio Annotation Analyst (Preference Data & Long-Form Captioning)

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate audio files with detailed metadata, including musical structure, instrumentation, and production elements.
• Conduct long-form captioning for audio content, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Perform audio QA to validate annotations and identify inconsistencies.
• Tag and organize audio files according to established guidelines.
• Summarize subjective listening impressions using precise and grounded language.
• Collaborate with teams to support generative audio systems, recommender platforms, or creator tools.
• Maintain high attention to detail for metadata tagging, file naming, and cross-checking.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 6 months to 3 years of experience in human annotation, music journalism, audio QA, or related roles.
• Strong listening skills to identify musical structure, instrumentation, and production details across genres.
• Proficiency in annotation tools, spreadsheets, and content management systems.
• Excellent written communication skills for summarizing audio content.
• High attention to detail for metadata tagging, file naming, and cross-checking.
• Reliable remote work setup with high-quality headphones for long-form listening tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Background in music theory, ethnomusicology, or audio engineering.
• Experience supporting generative audio systems, recommender platforms, or creator tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
