Position Summary:

The Audio/Video (A/V) Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and video equipment for events, meetings, and daily operations. The role ensures high-quality sound and visual output and provides technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, set up, and operate audio and video equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, displays, mixers, and video conferencing systems.
  • Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of A/V equipment.
  • Provide on-site technical support during meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve audio/video issues promptly.
  • Assist in upgrading and integrating new A/V systems.
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments for event requirements.
  • Ensure all equipment is safely handled, stored, and maintained.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma/technical certification in Audio/Video Technology, Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience in A/V setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of sound systems, video conferencing tools, and multimedia equipment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and support events outside normal working hours when required.
