Audio Visual (AV) CAD Drafter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio Visual (AV) CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed AV line drawings, room elevations, and structural support drawings for a variety of AV systems, including projection screens and projectors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and comprehensive AV line drawings, ensuring all cabling, equipment, and connections are clearly depicted.
• Create detailed room elevation drawings that illustrate the placement and integration of AV components within various environments.
• Design structural support drawings for AV equipment, such as projection screens and projectors, ensuring proper mounting and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with AV designers, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions, and project changes.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and new technologies in AV and CAD.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CAD Drafter, specifically within the Audio Visual industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong understanding of AV systems, components, and signal flow.
• Experience creating AV line drawings, room elevations, and structural support drawings for projection screens and projectors.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, AutoCAD) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
