Audio Visual Draftsman

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Draftsman to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate AV system drawings, schematics, and layouts in coordination with design and engineering teams for various projects in the construction and engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed AV system drawings including schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams
• Develop rack layouts, cable routes, and containment drawings
• Coordinate with AV engineers, IT, and MEP teams for design integration
• Review BOQs and ensure drawings align with project specifications
• Update drawings based on site conditions and client requirements
• Maintain documentation and drawing revisions as per project standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / IT Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AV drafting (preferably in UAE)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AV design tools
• Strong knowledge of AV systems (audio, video, control systems, networking basics)
• Familiarity with international standards and UAE project requirements
• Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in high-rise, commercial, or retail AV projects
• Knowledge of brands like Crestron, Extron, QSC, etc.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and BOQs
