Job Title: Audio-Visual (AV) Technician Job Summary: The Audio-Visual Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining AV equipment used in live events, meetings, conferences, and digital productions. The role ensures high-quality sound, lighting, and video experiences across all events and recordings. Key Responsibilities: Set up, test, and operate audio, lighting, and video equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live or recorded events. Coordinate with event organizers, production teams, and IT staff. Maintain and inventory AV equipment, cables, and software. Assist in video recording, editing, and streaming of events. Ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards. Stay current with emerging AV technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production, or related field. 2+ years of experience in AV setup and operation. Proficiency with soundboards, microphones, projectors, cameras, and lighting systems. Knowledge of software such as OBS, Zoom, Adobe Premiere, or QLab. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
