Audiology:
- Conduct hearing assessments and audiometric evaluations for patients with suspected hearing loss.
- Perform tests such as Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Tympanometry, Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), and Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR).
- Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive listening devices.
- Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss and rehabilitation options.
- Maintain accurate records of audiological evaluations and treatments.
Speech Therapy:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, fluency, articulation, and voice disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on patient assessment and progress.
- Provide therapy for children with developmental speech delays, autism spectrum disorders, or articulation issues.
- Assist adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, or neurological disorders to regain communication and swallowing abilities.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, psychologists, and occupational therapists for holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home-based exercises and communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP).
- Certification: Valid registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
