Audiology Assistant

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Audiology Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting audiologists and enhancing patient care. You will assist with patient hearing device management, intake processes, and contribute to a comprehensive audiology practice that prioritizes patient outcomes and clinical excellence. Responsibilities

  • Support audiologist by preparing patients for assessments and procedures, ensuring a smooth clinical flow
  • Manage administrative tasks such as ICD10 (International Classification of Diseases) coding and maintaining detailed patient records
  • Contribute to occupational health initiatives by ensuring safe clinical environments and adhering to safety protocols
  • Manage, order, receive, test and prepare hearing devices for patients.
  • Troubleshoot walk-in repairs, filter changes and connectivity issues of current hearing device users.

Experience

  • Previous experience or training in healthcare settings, particularly in audiology or related fields is preferred
  • Familiarity with patient service principles, including compassionate communication and intake procedures
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and communication skills are required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
