We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Audiovisual Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of audiovisual projects across diverse environments. Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of audiovisual projects from initial concept through installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to define project scope, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and construction management best practices.
  • Launch Projects: Meet twice weekly with the sales team to review new jobs, plan technician assignments, and kick projects off the right way.
  • Manage Equipment: Order gear, track arrivals, label, and stage everything needed for installs.
  • Own the Schedule: Set up project timelines with clients and techs, keeping everyone in the loop.
  • Lead the Team: Assign daily tasks, run quick team check-ins, and make sure standards stay sky-high.
  • Communicate with Clients: Keep clients updated throughout the project, answer questions, and solve problems fast.
  • Track Budget: Watch project expenses and labor hours to keep projects on track financially.
  • Monitor project progress through effective project scheduling and time management techniques; adjust plans proactively to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on installed systems, ensuring they meet specifications for electrical engineering standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience (AV, construction, tech industries a plus).
  • Organized, proactive, and able to juggle a lot without dropping the ball.
  • Clear communicator with a knack for keeping teams and clients happy.
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and technical documents.
  • Basic understanding of networking, AV systems, and installations is a bonus.
  • Tech-savvy with tools like spreadsheets, email, task management apps, and cloud storage (we use Dropbox). Familiarity with contracts negotiation and construction management processes; experience with project coordination is essential.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise between clients, technical teams, contractors, and vendors seamlessly. Pay: $57,967.10 - $69,809.84 per year
