Audit Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION: AUDIT ASSOCIATE

As an Audit Associate - you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of audit

engagements under the supervision of senior team members. You will contribute to

the completion of audit tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to

professional standards. This role provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience

in auditing practices and procedures within the context of the UAE regulatory

environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse financial data, transactions, and accounts to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or potential areas of concern.
• Perform substantive and analytical audit procedures to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in accordance with audit standards and firm guidelines.
• Interpret audit results, assess the impact on financial statements, and communicate findings to senior team members.
• Interact with clients to obtain necessary information, clarify audit queries, and address client concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with client personnel, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies and procedures throughout the audit process.
• Collaborate with audit team members to achieve audit objectives, share knowledge and insights, and support team goals.
• Seek guidance and feedback from senior team members to enhance learning and professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years and Required big 4 of experience in auditing, accounting, or relevant field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Technical knowledge in IFRS/UAE GAAP and reporting standards.
• Client-facing experience with a professional services mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) -preferably
