Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager with 8+ years of progressive audit and assurance experience to lead client audits, manage risk, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial auditing, governance, and risk management, with proven success in leading audit teams and delivering high quality client service. This full time, on site role in Dubai requires excellent technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk based annual audit plans aligned with client objectives.
• Lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Assess financial, operational, and compliance risks across diverse industries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, UAE corporate regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of auditors, ensuring high performance.
• Act as a liaison between clients, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Advise clients on improving internal controls, efficiency, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with CBC's Tax, Compliance, and Corporate Services teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of audit experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within the UAE or GCC.
• Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA, CA, or ACCA qualified.
• Regulatory Registration: Individually registered and listed with both the Ministry of Economy and the Emirates Auditors & Accountants Authority (EAAA).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in IFRS, ISA, risk management, and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage audit teams and client portfolios.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Proficiency in audit software, risk management tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
