Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Manager to join our dynamic audit and assurance team in Abu Dhabi.

Roles & Responsibilities – Audit Manager

• Own end-to-end engagement delivery, from client acceptance and continuance to final report issuance and archiving

• Lead risk assessment and audit strategy, including identification of significant risks, fraud risks, and group-level audit considerations

• Review and challenge key audit judgments, estimates, and management assumptions

• Act as the primary point of contact for senior client management, Audit Committees, and Group Auditors

• Manage and resolve technical accounting matters under IFRS/ISA, including consultation with technical teams where required

• Oversee group audits, including coordination with component auditors, review of reporting packages, and resolution of review notes

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., UAE Commercial Companies Law, MoIAT/ICV guidelines, Corporate Tax, VAT)

• Lead file quality reviews and ensure readiness for internal and external inspections (e.g., QCR, regulator reviews)

• Drive engagement profitability, including fee negotiations, scope management, change orders, and billing oversight

• Identify and communicate internal control deficiencies, providing practical recommendations through management letters

• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, pitching, and identifying cross-service opportunities

• Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership, training programs, and technical updates

• Promote ethical standards, independence, and professional skepticism across all engagements

• Lead initiatives to improve audit efficiency, including use of data analytics, audit tools, and process enhancements
