Audit Officer (Construction Background)

Job Description:
As an Audit Officer with a construction background, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits of ongoing and completed construction projects to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and contractual requirements. You will evaluate project costs, quality, timelines, and safety measures, ensuring transparency and accuracy in reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits on construction project documentation, contracts, and financial records.
  • Inspect sites to verify quality of work, material usage, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Monitor procurement processes to ensure fair pricing and prevent discrepancies.
  • Verify contractor bills, progress payments, and variation claims.
  • Identify risks, irregularities, and areas of improvement in construction operations.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACCA qualified
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in auditing or project control in a construction environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs90,000 – Rs125,000 per month
