Audit & Process Review Accountant – contract position

$25 - $30 per hour – Contract Employee to potential Permanent

We are hiring a contract Auditor employee to review our Accounting records to ensure that our Financial Statements and Reports are complete and accurate on a accrual-basis in our QuickBooks system. The scope of work is part of a wider due diligence process to assure compliance to GAAP accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review and document the processes of original books of entries for:

1) Accounts Receivables

2) Accounts Payables and Outsourced Contractor payments.

3) Inventory

4) Fixed Assets

5) General Ledger

6) Payroll

• Review the accuracy financial statements and reports
• Review & document Bank Accounts and Debt reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with government tax filings and reports.
• Prepare for External audit GAAP process.
• Utilize accounting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles
• Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, Advanced Excel – VlookUp, SUMIF, Pivot)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations
