Audit Senior

Position Overview:

A Long Island-based CPA firm is looking to add an Audit Senior to its growing team. The firm offers a full range of audit, tax, and advisory services to a diverse client base and is known for its collaborative environment, hands-on leadership, and strong opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

Audit & Assurance:

• Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Plan engagements, assess risk, and execute audit procedures
• Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures
• Evaluate internal controls and identify improvements
• Supervise and mentor staff

Tax (Seasonal):

• Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Assist with tax compliance and research

Client Service:

• Maintain strong client relationships
• Communicate findings and ensure timely delivery of engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or pursuing preferred)
• 3–6+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong audit experience; tax exposure is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and audit software
• Strong communication and leadership skills
