Authorities NOC Engineer

We are looking for an experienced NOC Engineer with a strong background in the UAE construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from government authorities and utility service providers to support project execution and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and identify authority approval requirements
• Prepare and submit NOC applications and supporting documents.
• Coordinate and obtain NOCs, permits and approvals from relevant authorities and utility providers.
• Liaise with government departments, municipalities, consultants and subcontractors to facilitate approvals.
• Follow up on submissions and ensure approvals are obtained within project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of permits, approvals, and correspondence.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with authority requirements.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants and authorities when required.
• Monitor approval status and proactively resolve any issues that may cause delays.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and authority standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a similar role within a construction or contracting company.
• Good knowledge of approval processes and regulations of UAE authorities and utility providers (e.g. DM, DDA, DEWA, RTA, Trakhees).
• Use of trackers to efficiently monitor the approval processes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Proven track record of timely NOC submissions.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
