Authority Engineer

PILING Company is looking for an experienced and proactive Authority Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling all authority-related submissions, approvals, and permits for the company’s piling and construction projects. This position requires strong knowledge of Dubai authorities’ procedures and frequent coordination with government entities to ensure projects progress smoothly and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and obtain all required authority approvals, permits, and NOCs for projects in Dubai.

Prepare, submit, and follow up on documents with relevant authorities such as:

Dubai Municipality

RTA

DEWA

Civil Defense

Other relevant government entities

Coordinate closely with consultants, project managers, and internal departments to ensure compliance with authority requirements.

Visit municipalities, authorities, and project sites as required to complete official procedures.

Follow up on submissions, respond to authority comments, and ensure timely approvals.

Ensure all submissions comply with UAE regulations, local codes, and authority standards.

Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, permits, and correspondence.

Support tender submissions and authority-related requirements for new projects.

Assist in resolving any authority-related issues that may affect project timelines.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Minimum experience in authority approvals and municipality procedures within the UAE (Dubai experience is a must).

Strong knowledge of Dubai authority systems and approval processes.

Valid UAE driving license.

Willingness to travel frequently across Dubai to authorities and project locations.

Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Good organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in piling, construction, or infrastructure projects in Dubai.

Familiarity with online submission portals and authority systems in the UAE.

Immediate or short notice availability is a plus.
