Position Overview

Whitemonde Interior Designs & Fit-Outs is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Authority Liaison Officer / Approval Coordinator to manage all government and building management approvals related to interior fit-out projects across Dubai.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all regulatory approvals are obtained efficiently and that projects remain compliant with relevant authority requirements while maintaining project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate authority approvals, permits, and NOCs required for interior fit-out projects.
• Liaise with government authorities including Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), DEWA, Trakhees, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with building managements, landlords, and developers to obtain necessary approvals and permissions.
• Prepare, review, and submit technical drawings, documentation, and application forms to relevant authorities.
• Track submission progress and ensure timely follow-up on approval processes.
• Arrange and coordinate authority inspections and site visits as required.
• Maintain organized records of all submissions, approvals, permits, and correspondence.
• Ensure projects comply with local authority regulations, safety standards, and building requirements.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and project management teams to facilitate smooth and timely approvals.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of UAE experience in authority approvals within the interior fit-out, construction, or engineering sector.
• Familiarity with approval processes from Dubai Municipality, DCD, DEWA, Trakhees, and building management systems.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with interior fit-out contractors or design firms.
• Knowledge of Dubai authority portals and online approval systems.
• Strong follow-up, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Compensation

Salary: 4000 to 6000K Per months
