We offer advice and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems that come up all around the world. As Apple continues to grow its global presence in new and existing markets, the GBS organization is also growing to better manage and operate the regional sites and drive global coordination
Description- Perform the role of Authorized Requester, managing the Purchase to Pay (P2P) Process for business team
- Manage the purchase order life cycle including approving purchase requisitions, addressing questions and maintenance/closure
- Perform goods receipt on behalf of business in compliance to Apple Finance Policy
- Administer all invoice processing, approval and payment workflows ensuring adherence to Accounting & Finance policies
- Provide support and training to Business on the Purchase-to-Pay process, capital tracking and general procurement topics
- Organize meetings with cross functional teams to review current Purchase to Pay landscape as it applies to their business
- Process ad hoc reports to analyze expenses and provide a status of PO spend vs budget
- Performs other duties and special projects as directed
- Closely monitor and review GR/IR imbalance and keep the BS account clean
Preferred Qualifications
Able to exercise good judgment and discretion within Apple’s policies
Exposure to RPA tools
Proficient with Financial Databases, S4 HANA preferred
Other financial systems & tools experience a plus: eApproval, Tableau, GRID
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting or Finance or 4 years relevant experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a global, fast-paced environment
Ability to problem solve and effectively prioritize workload
Comfortable working with cross functional teams across multiple business functions
Great teammate who is willing to assist other team members in getting the job done
Proven ability to build effective business partnerships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and exceptional organization skills
Technical aptitude with database management and analysis
Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Purchase to Pay end to end process
B.COM/BBA in Accounting, Finance or related field","internalDetails":null,"eeoContent":null
