Auto Appraiser (Diminished Value & Total Loss)

We are seeking an experienced Auto Appraiser to join our team, specializing in Diminished Value (DV) and Total Loss (Fair Market Value) appraisals. This is a desk appraisal role with no travel required, ideal for someone comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Diminished Value and Total Loss appraisals using market-based data and comparable analysis
• Review insurance valuation reports (e.g., CCC, Mitchell) and identify discrepancies
• Support clients in navigating the claims process and maximizing settlements
• Handle appraisal clause cases and negotiate directly with insurance company appraisers
• Prepare clear, well-supported appraisal reports and rebuttal letters
• Respond to client inquiries via email, chat, and calls regarding their claims and reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of reports and high client satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in auto appraisals, vehicle valuation, or insurance claims
• Strong understanding of Diminished Value and Total Loss methodologies
• Prior experience working with an insurance company or independent appraisal firm is a strong plus
• Familiarity with CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar systems
• Experience with appraisal clause negotiations is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and writing abilities

Compensation & Structure:

• Contract position
• Monthly pay (competitive; based on experience and/or volume)
