Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless paint spraying equipment or hand tools.
• Use power tools and buffing machines to achieve smooth, polished finishes on painted surfaces.
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, welding, and auto glass replacement as needed.
• Conduct detailing tasks such as polishing, buffing, and finishing to enhance the vehicle’s appearance.
• Assist with auto estimating and communicate with customers regarding repair progress and paint work details.
• Handle heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components safely during repair processes.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair and painting is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with auto painting techniques including airless spray systems and buffing methods.
• Knowledge of auto restoration processes, auto glass installation, and vehicle maintenance is advantageous.
• Familiarity with welding, mechanical repairs, and the use of hand tools and power tools in a workshop environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain repair procedures and paint options to clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Prior experience with auto estimating software or mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory. This role offers a vibrant environment where craftsmanship meets customer satisfaction! Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
