We Have an immediate opening for a full time experienced Auto Body Tech, We are a well established busy independent Auto Body Shop in business for over 45 years with multi DRPs with some of the better insurance companies . We offer the opportunity to earn high wages supported by a staff that works hard to get the best labor times and support your productivity . We concentrate our efforts on late model collision work in the profitable light & medium range but the shop is well equipped to deal with just about anything we would want to get involved with . We offer pleasant working conditions , modern equipment and competitive benefits. We offer some flexibility on working hours for early birds & night owls but normal Shop Hours are Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM with Holiday Pay and Paid Vacation offered . We offer competitive Flat Rate Commissions where the Candidates abilities and productivity are rewarded without limitations or Hourly Wages may be offered in some situations . A guarantee is also available to a productive Commission Tech. Candidates must have appropriate Collision Repair experience and tools to perform a verity of Auto Body Repairs related to modern Collision Repair needs .Also prior IICAR Training or willingness to participate in IICAR Training to get certified at the shops expense

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 estimated per year based on techs ability to produce

Responsibilities

• Perform body repairs on Collision Damaged vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
• Work with Estimator to help assess additional vehicle damage and parts needed after tear down
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
• Proficiency in using power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
• Experience in auto restoration is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with auto estimating systems like CCC is a plus.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
