Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs on a variety of vehicles, utilizing your expertise in auto body work, welding, fabrication, and vehicle restoration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a reputable shop that values craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Repair and restore vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment.
• Perform welding tasks such as MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to ensure structural integrity.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, grinding, sanding, and assembly of vehicle components.
• Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve flawless finishes.
• Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision.
• Assist with vehicle detailing and finishing touches to ensure a high-quality presentation.
• Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, damage assessment, and customer service to deliver outstanding results.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with auto painting, auto restoration, auto glass installation, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service principles is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
