Auto Body Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques and tools used in the automotive industry. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Utilize MIG welding, fabrication, and soldering techniques to repair or replace damaged parts.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks, including detailing and assembly of components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Execute auto painting tasks using airless paint spraying methods for a flawless finish.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions for vehicle repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Maintain an organized work area while adhering to company policies regarding safety and cleanliness.

Skills

• Dealership experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in MIG welding, fabrication, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong skills in auto body repair, sheet metal work, soldering, and auto restoration techniques.
• Familiarity with assembly processes, detailing methods, and the use of power tools.
• Experience in welding, auto glass installation, customer service interactions, and auto estimating is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
