Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged parts efficiently.
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify necessary repairs, estimate parts and labor, and communicate findings clearly with customers or estimators.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto alignment, and detailing to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
• Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, auto painting, and auto restoration projects.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and auto glass installation processes.
• Knowledge of auto estimating procedures and customer service principles is advantageous.
• Experience working with automotive parts such as sheet metal components, vehicle frames, and auto glass is essential.
