Duties

• Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using advanced tools and techniques.
• Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to repair sheet metal and structural components.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and applying primers; execute auto painting using airless paint sprayers for a smooth finish.
• Install auto glass and perform auto glass repairs or replacements with precision.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, assembly of parts, and detailing to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication, repair, and assembly work.
• Collaborate with customers and team members to provide excellent customer service and accurate auto estimating.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or auto body shop experience demonstrating proficiency in auto body repair techniques.
• Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and the use of various hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Experience with auto restoration projects and auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying.
• Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Knowledge of auto glass installation and automotive repair standards.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Pay: $24.16 - $29.10 per hour
