Auto Body Technician/Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various auto body repair techniques. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The Auto Body Technician will work with power tools, perform auto painting, and utilize airless paint spraying techniques to achieve the desired finish.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs using auto estimating techniques.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed.
• Perform welding and soldering tasks to repair metal parts of vehicles.
• Execute auto painting tasks, including surface preparation and application of paint using airless paint spraying methods.
• Install auto glass and ensure proper sealing for safety and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools effectively.
• Familiarity with auto estimating processes and techniques for assessing vehicle damage.
• Experience in welding, soldering, and assembling vehicle components is preferred.
• Proficiency in auto painting techniques, including airless paint spraying, is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $24.68 - $26.16 per hour
