Auto Claims Physical Damage Inside Adjuster

An Auto Claims Physical Damage inside adjuster sets up initial auto physical damage claims and provides support to claims adjusters and customer service to claimants.

The duties outlined below are the minimum duties and qualification for this position. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Review and determine payment of minor, undisputed and/or limited authorization claims. Assign all other claims to appropriate adjuster
• Verify coverage and damage reports received from vendors and customers for accuracy and consistency with the claim as reported
• Audit bills for detection of possible fraud; refer findings to Claims Manager
• Prepare and submit administrative reports as required
• Provide support for claims appraisers and managers. Act as a point of contact for internal/external customers

SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Dedication to providing a high level of customer service
• Insurance industry or claims knowledge preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Maintain strong knowledge of basic computer functions including Microsoft products
• Capable of conveying information effectively between customers and policyholders

Please note that previous experience in claims processing or insurance is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
