Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess extent of damage and identify necessary repairs
• Prepare comprehensive auto estimates using auto estimating software, ensuring accuracy and clarity
• Collaborate with repair shops, insurance adjusters, and customers to negotiate repair scopes and costs effectively
• Utilize mechanical knowledge and automotive repair understanding to evaluate repair feasibility and timelines
• Analyze vehicle damage reports, photos, and repair histories to inform fair valuation decisions
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, estimates, and negotiations for record-keeping purposes

Experience

• Proven experience in auto estimating, auto body repair, or automotive service management is highly preferred
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with underwriting processes related to auto insurance claims is a plus
• Knowledge of auto estimating software tools and service writing practices is advantageous
• Prior exposure to auto service management roles demonstrates leadership potential in this field
• Knowledge of Mitchell and CC Estimating Systems Preferred

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
