Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess extent of damage and identify repair needs.
• Prepare detailed auto damage reports, including estimates for repairs using auto estimating software.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters, repair shops, and customers to facilitate smooth claims processing.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlement amounts effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
• Utilize auto body repair expertise to evaluate structural damage and restoration requirements.
• Review automotive repair procedures, ensure compliance with safety standards, and verify repair quality.
• Assist in underwriting decisions by providing accurate damage assessments and analysis skills to support risk evaluation.

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills to reach fair agreements with clients, repair shops, and insurance companies.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, auto body repairs, and restoration processes.
• Experience with auto estimating tools and auto service management software.
• Knowledge of auto insurance underwriting procedures and claim processes.
• Proficiency in analyzing damages to determine accurate repair estimates and costs.
• Familiarity with auto service operations, including service writing and automotive repairs.
