Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Auto Damage Appraiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing accurate vehicle damage assessments, preparing detailed auto damage estimates, and supporting efficient insurance claims processing.

This position requires a strong background in collision repair estimating, auto body repair, and insurance claims negotiation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using CCC One and Mitchell Connect, and can confidently evaluate vehicle damage, communicate with customers, and ensure fair and accurate repair estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections to assess auto body and mechanical damage
• Prepare accurate and detailed auto damage estimates using CCC One and Mitchell Connect
• Communicate with customers, repair facilities, and insurance adjusters to explain findings
• Review estimates for compliance with company policies and insurance requirements
• Take required photos of damaged vehicle and stay on top of supplementary items.
• Stay current on automotive repair techniques, collision standards, and estimating best practices
• Handle customer interactions, customer intake and there documentation and paperwork

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Auto Damage Appraiser, Auto Estimator, or related role
• Certified auto damage appraisers license
• Background working in collision repair shops, or as an insurance apppraiser
• Proven experience with CCC One and Mitchell Connect (Required)
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair, collision repair, and mechanical systems
• Experience working within insurance claims and damage appraisal processes
• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate vehicle damage assessments and cost analysis
• Strong negotiation skills with customers, repair shops, and insurance carriers
• Excellent communication skills in fast-paced, customer-facing environmentsPreferred Qualifications
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with DRP environments and insurance compliance standards
• I-CAR certifications or similar industry credentials
