Auto Damage Appraiser - Onsite

Summary:

We are an expanding auto insurance carrier, and looking for an extraordinary person to join our on-site claims team as an Auto Physical Damage Adjuster in our Phoenix, AZ office. Working in this position, you are motivated by constant improvement and being with a company where you can make a real impact. Each day is different, but you will be responsible for estimating and negotiating physical damage auto claims primarily by phone. You will need excellent problem solving and organizational skills to gather details and manage the claims repair process.

Key Accountabilities & Competencies:

· Experience with CCC estimating and total loss software or its equivalent for auto.

· Negotiates and settles auto physical damage claims (first-party and third-party).

· Partners with others to manage vehicle repairs when needed.

· Sets timely, adequate reserves in compliance with the company reserving philosophy.

· Ability to deliver superior customer service through strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Demonstrates ownership attitude with the ability to be analytical and make accurate decisions.

· Handles claims in a manner that is consistent with the standard and direction set forth by Seaview.

· Personal computer literate with proficiency.

· All other duties as assigned.

Core Requirements:

· Prior auto estimating training with 3 – 5 years actual experience.

· Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster license in required states.

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

· Must work on-site and located in the greater Phoenix area.

Location and Schedule: 8-hour shift + 1-hour lunch in our Phoenix office (office based). We are currently operating in a Hybrid environment for eligible associates, with Monday - Thursday onsite and Fridays remote.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
