Full job description

Must be experienced in luxury cars which includes high-end brands like Range Rover, Mercedes, BMW, Bentley etc.:

1. Diagnosing Vehicle Faults:

- Identify issues in vehicles through manual inspections or using specialized software and diagnostic tools.

- Perform test drives and other diagnostic tests to confirm vehicle issues.

2. Repairing and Replacing Faulty Parts:

- Dismantle and replace damaged or malfunctioning vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical components.

- Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other major parts when necessary.

3. Cost and Time Estimates:

- Prepare detailed cost and time estimates for repair work and maintenance services based on diagnostics and client requests.

4. Scheduled Maintenance and Servicing:

- Perform regular, scheduled servicing such as oil changes, brake replacement, tire rotation, and fluid flushes.

- Carry out inspections and tune-ups to maintain the vehicle’s performance and longevity.

5. Installing Vehicle Accessories:

- Fit new accessories such as advanced audio systems, GPS, parking sensors, or luxury upgrades according to manufacturer specifications.

6. Service Records Management:

- Maintain up-to-date service and repair records for every vehicle worked on, ensuring a detailed history for future reference.

7. Engine, Transmission, and Suspension Work:

- Repair, replace, and overhaul engines, gearboxes, and suspension systems, ensuring optimal performance of the vehicle.

8. Client Consultation and Feedback:

- Listen carefully to clients’ descriptions of vehicle problems and understand their preferences for service.

- Provide recommendations for preventative maintenance and answer questions about the vehicle's condition.

9. Test Drives and Final Inspections:

- Perform test drives and final checks after completing repair or maintenance work to ensure vehicles are functioning properly before handing them back to the client.

10. Preventative Maintenance:

- Conduct routine maintenance tasks like replacing filters, fluids, belts, and brakes to prevent long-term damage and maintain vehicle performance.

11. Knowledge of Overhauling:

- Conduct complete overhauls when necessary, rebuilding components like the engine, transmission, or drivetrain systems, especially for high-performance and luxury vehicles.

12. Must have good knowledge about the spare parts of cars .

By specialising in high-end models like Range Rover, Mercedes, and BMW, you would need expertise in modern diagnostics and vehicle systems to provide optimal service.

Experience:

• Auto Electrician: 3 years (Preferred)
