We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Estimatics Claims Appraiser to join our claims team. In this role, you will evaluate vehicle damage reports, develop accurate repair estimates, and collaborate with repair shops, insurance adjusters, and customers to ensure fair and efficient claims processing. Your expertise in auto body repair, automotive repair, and auto estimating will be essential in delivering exceptional service and resolving claims swiftly. Responsibilities

• Review vehicle damage reports and photographs to assess the scope of repairs needed
• Develop precise auto repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software and tools
• Collaborate with auto body repair shops, automotive technicians, and insurance adjusters to validate repair costs
• Negotiate repair estimates with repair facilities and policyholders to reach mutually agreeable solutions
• Conduct detailed analysis of vehicle damage, considering mechanical and structural factors, to ensure comprehensive assessments
• Maintain thorough documentation of estimates, adjustments, and communications for each claim
• Stay current on industry trends, auto restoration techniques, and insurance policies to ensure accurate evaluations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto estimating, auto body repair, or automotive repair roles
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for fair claim resolutions
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, structures, and repairs is essential
• Familiarity with underwriting principles related to auto insurance claims
• Knowledge of auto service management practices and service writing processes
• Excellent analysis skills to evaluate damage reports accurately and efficiently
• Ability to interpret technical repair procedures and estimate costs precisely
• Prior experience with auto restoration projects is a plus

Pay: $57,336.34 - $69,050.21 per year
