Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Location: In-Office Position

What You'll Do

As an Auto Liability PD Claims Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of auto liability and property damage claims from initial investigation through final resolution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Review assigned claims and determine the appropriate course of action using technical expertise and sound judgment.
  • Conduct thorough investigations involving coverage, liability, damages, and policy analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed claim documentation throughout the life of each claim.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, settle, or deny first- and third-party liability claims based on investigation findings.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, vendors, attorneys, and internal business partners.
  • Gather evidence, establish facts, and develop claim strategies to support timely resolution.
  • Prepare and present claim evaluations for settlement authority approval.
  • Identify and report adverse underwriting information discovered during investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and unfair claims practices requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships while maintaining quality service standards and cost efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of auto liability and property damage claims handling experience
  • Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License
  • Strong analytical, investigative, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple claims and competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies, claim procedures, and applicable state regulations
  • Experience working in an automated claims processing environment
  • Knowledge of fraud detection and loss prevention practices
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Non-Standard Auto Insurance experience
  • Multi-State Adjuster Licensing
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
