We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Litigation Adjuster. The successful candidate will be a high-performing Claims professional that is customer focused, willing to work in a fast-paced, metrics driven work environment, accepts responsibility for their own results and those of their team.

Position Summary

The Auto Litigation Claims Adjuster is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving auto bodily injury claims that are in litigation. This role manages attorney-represented claims, partners closely with defense counsel, and ensures timely and cost-effective claim resolution while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a pending of litigated auto bodily injury claims from inception through resolution
• Review lawsuits, pleadings, and legal documents to determine exposure and liability
• Partner with defense counsel to develop case strategy, set reserves, and evaluate settlement opportunities
• Conduct thorough investigations including reviewing medical records, accident reports, expert reports, and discovery responses
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials (as needed)
• Establish and maintain accurate claim reserves in accordance with company guidelines
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and litigation management standards
• Maintain timely documentation and file management in claims system
• Provide clear and professional communication to insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal stakeholders

Requirements for Consideration:

Only those candidates that currently hold a valid Texas resident Adjuster's License and have a minimum of two years auto personal lines casualty and litigation claims adjusting experience will be considered.

• Current Texas Resident Adjuster’s License
• Minimum two-years of personal lines litigation claims adjusting experience
• Expertise in injury evaluations
• High degree of self-discipline and able to work independently
• Strong negotiation skills, with a desire to negotiate
• Full understanding of, and ability to apply, comparative negligence
• Superior customer service skills, with a desire to help others
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Focused and driven to meet assigned goals and objectives
• Proficiency with computers, including automated claims systems
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external Customers

Preferred Attributes:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree
• Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) is a plus

Experience:

• At least 2 years of bodily injury (attorney-represented) claims handling experience (Required)
