Auto Mechanic

Automotive Technician for our Saginaw, Mi. Muffler Man repair facility. Replace/ Install/ Diagnose parts on domestic and foreign cars and trucks. This job could lead into Repair shop Manager for the right candidate.

Responsibilities :

• Record and document pertinent auto information.
• Inspect and diagnose faulty parts based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer.
• Provide customer or manager with detailed estimates for repairs or replacement and obtain signature approval prior to commencing repairs.
• Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether any other problems exist.
• Describe vehicle's condition to customer and answer any follow-up questions.
• Work Safely, Keep work area clean.

Requirements :

• Must have 4 years automotive repair experience.
• Must have own tools and knowledge in repairs.
• Be willing to service our Muffler Man customers with a smile.
• Valid Drivers license
• Dependable
