We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
• Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring and battery issues.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
• Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
• Repair or replace components of diesel engines as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics to efficiently identify issues.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to weld and perform structural repairs when necessary.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices.
• Understanding of schematics related to automotive systems.
• Experience working specifically with GM vehicles is a plus.
