Auto Mechanic

Job Summary

The Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with both traditional and computerized automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotation, brake service, fluid checks)
• Repair or replace worn or damaged parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems
• Test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper functionality
• Maintain accurate service records and complete repair documentation
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures at all times
• Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with supervisors or customers
• Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition
• Stay up to date with evolving automotive technologies and repair techniques

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
