We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance and repair. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues effectively. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- perform other necessary adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Inspect vehicles for safety issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role in a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on automotive electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is advantageous but not mandatory.
