  • Location: On-Site at AAM Headquarters (Piney Flats, TN)
  • Schedule: Full-Time | Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Environment: Cross-Departmental Office Support

Job Description:

The Product Data Specialist will join a team of several data specialists who are responsible for enhancing the accuracy, completeness, and usability of product data within our systems. This role involves working closely with our suppliers, data partners, and internal teams to ensure product information is up-to-date, complete, and has been accurately optimized for use on our wholesale and retail platforms. The successful candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy in data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, manage, and maintain product data.
  • Ensure product data consistency and accuracy within industry standards PLUS ensure that AAM’s proprietary data enhancements are done accurately and promptly.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain and update product specifications, images, descriptions, pricing, and other essential information.
  • Perform data entry, cleanup, and validation tasks to ensure accurate and complete product listings to ensure our product data is up-to-date for successful implementation in our platforms.
  • Monitor data discrepancies and resolve issues related to product information, including missing or incorrect data.
  • Regularly verify that our data is properly categorized and is functioning as designed.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet company needs.
  • Identify data issues and work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or gaps.

Qualifications:

  • Work experience in the automotive aftermarket or in the management of product data for other industries. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in business, Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field would qualify.
  • 2+ years of experience in product data management, data entry, or similar roles (experience with automotive aftermarket data is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
