Auto Parts Technician

An Auto Parts Technician is a professional responsible for managing, identifying, sourcing, and handling vehicle parts used in repair and maintenance work. They work closely with mechanics, service advisors, and customers to ensure the correct parts are available and properly installed.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and locate the correct automotive parts based on vehicle make, model, and year
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts deliveries
• Maintain inventory records and ensure stock levels are accurate
• Order replacement or special-order parts from suppliers
• Assist mechanics by providing the correct parts for repairs
• Use catalogs, databases, and software to cross-reference part numbers
• Handle warranty returns and defective parts processing
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive parts
• Ability to use parts lookup systems and inventory software
• Attention to detail (to avoid incorrect part selection)
• Basic mechanical understanding
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Organizational and time-management skills

Pay: QAR80,000.00 - QAR150,000.00 per year
