Auto Technician/Mechanic

Job Summary
Rusty's Auto Service is hiring a skilled Automotive Technician. We run one of the best, most efficient repair shops in the city. If you know your stuff and take pride in doing quality work, we want you. We service all domestic & import makes and models and handle fleet contract work.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs, from oil and tire changes to timing chain replacements and engines
• Diagnose vehicle problems accurately using proper tools and equipment
• Complete repairs correctly and test drive vehicles to verify the fix
• Keep accurate paperwork for customers and shop records
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment

Requirements

• Current Michigan Motor Vehicle Mechanic Certificate
• Strong experience with engine repair, brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostics
• Ability to use all standard automotive tools and diagnostic equipment
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional.
• Must have your own standard industry tools, shop specialty tools supplied.
