Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Auto Body/Collision Technician to join our team and bring expert craftsmanship to vehicle repairs and restorations. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicles with precision and care, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in auto body repair, sheet metal work, welding, and vehicle maintenance will be essential in delivering exceptional results for our customers. Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, panel straightening and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as MIG welding and soldering.
• Conduct auto painting tasks utilizing paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish.
• Utilize auto estimating software to assess damages accurately and communicate repair needs effectively.
• Prepare vehicles for detailing and finishing by performing sanding, sanding, buffing, and polishing to restore vehicles to their original condition or better.
• Support vehicle maintenance tasks including some mechanical repairs, assembly of parts, heavy lifting, and general automotive repair duties as needed.

Requirements

• Extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, auto painting, and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during all repair processes.
