AutoCAD & BIM Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD & BIM professional to support our design, drafting, and coordination activities across ongoing and upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflows, with the ability to produce accurate drawings, develop coordinated BIM models, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

AutoCAD Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation using AutoCAD.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineering inputs, site conditions, and client feedback.
• Maintain drawing standards, layers, templates, and file organization.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to deliver timely drawing packages.

BIM Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP as applicable).
• Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Generate schedules, quantities, and model‑based reports.
• Support BIM workflows, standards, and project execution plans (BEP).
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency across disciplines.
• Assist in implementing BIM best practices and improving digital design processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and BIM modeling (or as required).
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD (2D/3D)
• Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP)
• Navisworks (clash detection preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical standards, and project workflows.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and site information.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality deliverables.

Preferred (Optional)

• Experience in MEP coordination or architectural detailing.
• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ISO 19650 standards.
• Familiarity with Dynamo, BIM 360, or other digital collaboration platforms.
• Experience in quantity take‑off and model‑based estimation.
