AutoCAD Civil 3D Draftsman / Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Civil 3D Draftsman/Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Civil 3D software and a solid understanding of civil engineering design standards. You will be responsible for preparing, editing, and reviewing civil engineering drawings and models for infrastructure, roads, utilities, and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D/3D drawings and models using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare grading plans, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and corridor models.
• Create and update topographic surveys, earthwork calculations, and utility layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Assist in preparing construction documentation and revisions.
• Maintain drawing files, project records, and version control.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Proven experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D (2+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure projects (roads, grading, utilities, land development).
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, survey data, and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Hydrology/Hydraulic design (Storm & Sewer networks).
• Familiarity with local authority design standards and codes.
• Experience in construction documentation and quantity take-offs.
