AutoCAD Design Engineer / Draughtsman

The AutoCAD Design Engineer / Draughtsman responsible for preparing accurate design drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for fire protection systems. The role supports project execution by ensuring drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Design & Drafting:

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for Fire Fighting Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and Emergency Lighting Systems.
• Develop layouts, schematics, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as per project specifications.
• Revise and update drawings based on site conditions, client comments, and authority requirements.

Coordination & Technical Support

• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and consultants to ensure design accuracy.
• Support the project team with technical clarifications and design modifications.
• Assist in preparing drawings required for authority submissions and approvals.

Revit & BIM Support

• Prepare and modify Revit MEP models as required for coordinated project execution.
• Ensure proper integration of fire systems with other MEP services.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Diploma Engineer (any stream) / Bachelor of Engineering (any stream).
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Additional Qualification: Knowledge of Revit MEP is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in Fire Fighting Systems and/or Fire Alarm Systems and/or Emergency Lighting Systems is mandatory.
• Good communication and basic English skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive learning attitude.
